Welcome

Hello!  I am Julie Pierce, Principal of Gulf Shores Elementary School.  We are starting the 2012-2013 school year with high hopes and great expectations! 

Digital Renaissance is a dream come true for our students thanks to the collaborative and generous efforts of Baldwin County Board of Education, Gulf Shores City Council, and local patrons.  We call it the Learning for Life Project as all four island schools are focused on preparing our students for the 21st Century.  We offer individual laptops for students in grades 4-12 and an intense study of future careers beginning in middle school and continuing into high school with career academies and internships! 

Also during the school year, we will be adding Spanish instruction for all of our elementary students.

We are thrilled to present a freshly painted colorful cafeteria and hallways along with a newly renovated front office.  We hope you find the office pleasing and comfortable.  A huge thanks to the PTO for their financial assistance with the renovation.

The office staff, support staff, and faculty are all professionally interested in your concerns and needs.  Just let us know how we can assist you!
