What a blast! The children had so much fun "dressing" and "feathering" their turkeys! The Best Dressed turkey winners were Mrs. Smith's class and Mrs. Lee's class. Mrs. Smith's class turned their turkey into a 3D Christmas Tree, and Mrs. Lee's class dressed their turkey as Jack Sparrow, the pirate, complete with ship! These classes had a pizza party to celebrate.
The most heavily "feathered" turkeys that won the Splodge-a-Thons in the library were Mrs. Lauber's class and Mrs. Goldbold's class. Working together, we all raised $4, 383.74! The state normally funds technology at around $13,000. With the loss of the money, the Turkeys for Technology money will help immensely. The Techology Committee will meet this month to decide how to spend the money. Thanks to everyone for supporting a very fun project!
